(below) Colleen Powers, a twelve-year Coach at St. Catherine University softball and Gopher Softball Alumnae, is providing a one-hour lesson on either hitting or defense, at your choice. Coach Powers has just celebrated her 250th WIN!In her senior season in 2008, Powers contributed to Minnesota's Big Ten Tournament appearance and wrapped up her playing career with a flawless 1.000 fielding percentage and 122 career appearances. Following her time as a player at Minnesota, Powers served as a graduate assistant for the West Texas A & University softball team, helping them achieve their first-ever national ranking in program history from 2008 to 2009.Being a member of the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) since 2008, Powers also completed the NCAA Women's Coaching Academy in 2009 and again in 2011, specializing in Dimension 2 of the competitive coaching program. Powers brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her coaching sessions, ensuring a valuable learning experience for all participants.
